Zhang Zhiqing, male, Han ethnicity. Born in November 1964. University graduate with a BA degree. Research librarian. Member of the CPC. He has successively acted as deputy director and director of Rare Books & Special Collections Department of the NLC, deputy director of the NLC Ancient Books Library (NLC Chronicles Library). He was appointed as Deputy Director of the NLC in June 2009 and concurrently acted as Deputy Director of China National Center for Preservation & Conservation of Ancient Books since April 2010. From July 2022, he served as the Executive Deputy Director of the NLC (Director-General Level) and Deputy Director of China National Center for Preservation & Conservation of Ancient Books.
