On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the National Library of China (NLC) has built the “Great Journey of A Century-Repository of Party Building Resources since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China” to provide literature services for readers, as a step to thoroughly implement the important deployment of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee on cultural construction and the spirit of Secretary General Xi Jinping’s reply to the experts of the NLC, while adhering to the original mission of “inheriting civilization and serving the society”, and strengthening education of Party history.

The repository is guided by the ideology of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era proposed by Secretary General Xi Jinping, with various decisions and deployments of the Party since the 18th National Congress as the main pathway. It explores various types of resources such as physical literature, characteristic digital collections and databases of the NLC, covering Party building theories, Party constitutions and regulations, documents of the central government, research results, etc., which reflect the characteristics of the times, showcase the great achievements of Party building, and provide reference for readers on the education of Party history.

The repository conducts in-depth and knowledge-based processing of resource contents, constructs a knowledge graph, and provides visual display through keywords cloud map and timeline, providing readers with convenient resource retrieval and data browsing, and initially realizing knowledge recommendation services.
