On 20 September, Chen Ying, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the National Library of China (NLC) and Deputy Director of the NLC, met with the delegation of the National Library Board, Singapore (NLB), led by Ms Melissa Tam, the NLB Chief Executive Officer.
The two sides held exchanges on deepening cooperation between the two institutions and advancing preparations for the special exhibition of literature on the Four Great Classical Novels.
Wei Chong, the NLC Deputy Director, and Ms Melissa Tam, gave a joint media interview on the progress of preparations for the special literature exhibition of the Four Great Classical Novels.
The delegation also visited the National Museum of China, Beijing Library and other institutions for exchanges.
