On 10 April, Huo Ruijuan, Deputy Director of the National Library of China (NLC), met with José da Cunha, the President of Darcy Ribeiro Foundation, Brazil and his delegation, and accepted the donated books of Darcy Ribeiro Foundation, Brazil on behalf of the NLC.
Both sides reviewed the history of exchanges between the NLC and the Brazilian library community, and expressed their hope to leverage the "2026 China-Brazil Cultural Year" as an opportunity to conduct more in-depth exchanges and continuously deepen cultural mutual learning and friendship between the two countries.
José da Cunha and his delegation also visited the exhibitions of the National Museum of Classic Books and the NLC North Area.
