On 1 December, on the occasion of the 12th "National Constitution Day" and the 8th "Constitution Publicity Week", the constitutional theme publicity activity of "Marching Forward with the Constitution into a New Journey" was held in the National Library of China (NLC).
A book sharing session was held on site, where Professor Yao Guojian, Vice Dean of Law School of China University of Political Science and Law, and Professor Lao Dongyan from Tsinghua University introduced their insights on two books, namely "Constitutional Learning Guidebook" and "The Right Not to be Criminalized: Demarcating Criminal Law's Authority", respectively. They engaged in interactive discussions with more than 100 representatives from various sectors.

During the same period, the "Marching Forward with the Constitution into a New Journey" themed exhibition was held in the Zizhu Hall of the NLC South Area. Based on the NLC's Constitution-related documents, the exhibition systematically reviewed the development process of China's Constitution and comprehensively demonstrated the significant achievements made in the comprehensive implementation of the Constitution in the new era.
The NLC also collaborated with the Law Press and China Legal Publishing House to select over 100 titles of excellent law books for the year 2024-2025. A special exhibition area had been set up in the NLC Law Library to display constitutional and related law books by category, providing convenience for the public to learn law knowledge.
In addition, this event was also planning to launch an online interactive experience session, which included activities such as an online law knowledge contest, a constitution-themed reading recommendation on the website of the NLC Law Library, and so on.
