From 27 December to 2 November, Oba Yoshiyasu, Director of Reader Services and Collections Department of the National Diet Library (NDL), led a 5-person delegation to the National Library of China (NLC) for the 41st business exchange between the NLC and the NDL.
During the meeting, both sides expressed their expectation to continuously explore diversified forms of cooperation, strengthen business exchanges and collaboration between the two libraries, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the librarianship in both countries.
At the business exchange meeting, representatives from both sides delivered keynote speeches, exchanged views on the main business work of the past year, and engaged in discussions focusing on topics such as children's reading promotion, library smart services, and so on.
During the visit, the delegation also visited Beijing Library, the Corner Tower Library, Shenzhen Library, Shenzhen Children's Library, Shenzhen University Library, and so on.
