On 25 September, Wei Chong, Deputy Director of the National Library of China, met with the Chairman of Committee on Archives, Documentation and Book Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and his delegation.
Both sides discussed the common opportunities and challenges currently faced by the library community, and expressed that the library communities of the two countries could strengthen bilateral and multilateral exchanges and cooperation continuously by the aid of the "Silk Road International Library Alliance", international book fairs, and so on.
