From 25 August to 29 August, Wang Xiaodong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the National Library of China (NLC) and Director of the NLC Discipline Inspection Commission, led a delegation to visit the National Library of Korea for the 25th business exchange between the two libraries.
At the exchange meeting, both sides gave keynote speeches and business speeches on the themes of "Application of Artificial Intelligence in Library Services" and "Inheriting and Promoting Traditional Culture" respectively. They shared the main business work and innovative achievements of both sides in the past year, and held discussions on knowledge-based processing of digital resources of ancient books, smart library construction, and library service innovation.
The delegation also visited four libraries, including the National Library for Children and Young Adults, the Music Library of Uijeongbu, the Art Library of Uijeongbu, and the Songpo Book Museum.
