On 8 August, Zhang Jun, Deputy Director of the National Library of China (NLC), met with the delegation led by the Director of the National Library of Uzbekistan (NLU).
Both sides discussed topics such as physical documents cataloging, digital documents acquisitions, and so on, and expressed that this exchange deepened mutual understanding between the national libraries of the two countries and laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two libraries. The Director of the NLU presented 20 Uzbekistan’s books to the NLC on behalf of the NLU.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the exhibitions of the National Museum of Classic Books and Reading Rooms in the NLC North Area.
