On 19 June, Chen Ying, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the National Library of China (NLC) and Deputy Director of the NLC, met with Director of the Public Library of Selangor, Malaysia and her delegation.
Both parties introduced the general situation of their libraries respectively, as well as their practices and achievements in promoting nationwide reading, international cultural exchanges, and children's reading services, and expressed their expectations for deepening exchanges and cooperation.
The delegation visited the relevant exhibitions at the National Museum of Classic Books and the NLC North Area.
