On 13 June, the Exhibition and Screening of the Achievements of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Inheritors Documentation Works was launched in Beijing. Rao Quan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Director of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, attended the activity.

This activity was jointly sponsored by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the National Library of China, and jointly organized by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Centers of various provinces, regions, municipalities, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as more than 300 libraries of various levels and types. The activities included “The Exhibition of the Achievements of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Inheritors Documentation Works” and “Time Passed by but Memories Lasts Forever—The 7th Screening Month of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Inheritors Documentation Works”. The achievements exhibition comprehensively introduced the achievements of national intangible cultural heritage representative inheritors documentation works over the past decade through two chapters, i.e. "The Great River" and "The Mighty Mountains". The exhibition would last until 31 October. Through a combination of online and offline methods, the screening month presented a summary of 44 outstanding achievements documentaries in the sixth batch of documentation works.

Documentation work is an important foundational work for the protection of intangible cultural heritage. Since 2015, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has implemented national intangible cultural heritage representative inheritors documentation works. Over the past decade, there have been 2290 national intangible cultural heritage representative inheritors carrying out documentation works. This activity will comprehensively present the achievements of China's intangible cultural heritage protection achievements, telling touching stories of national intangible cultural heritage representative inheritors and recorders, making the audience immerse themselves in the beauty of Chinese excellent traditional culture.
