On 11 June, Chen Ying, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the National Library of China (NLC) and Deputy Director of the NLC, met with Judit Gerencsér, President of the Association of Hungarian Librarians and Deputy Director of the National Széchényi Library, and her delegation.
Both parties engaged in in-depth and detailed discussions on the digitalization of library collections, particularly focusing on OCR recognition of handwritten documents, acquisition of digital copyrights, and so on. Chen Ying also sincerely invited the National Széchényi Library to join the "Silk Road International Library Alliance" initiated and established by the NLC.
The delegation visited the relevant exhibitions at the National Museum of Classic Books and the Chinese Books Reading Area in the NLC North Area.
