The National Library of China Branch at the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters is established

On 27 February, the National Library of China (NLC) and the Political Work Department of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters signed a cooperation agreement, officially establishing the “National Library of China Branch at the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters”. Chen Ying, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the NLC and Deputy Director of the NLC, Li Zhenzhou, Director of the Publicity Bureau of the Political Work Department of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters, attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Chen Ying and Li Zhenzhou signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties and jointly unveiled the plaque for the “National Library of China Branch at the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters”. Chen Ying, on behalf of the NLC, presented a series of 70 books titled "One Hundred Classics of Chinese Traditional Culture" to the Library of the Chinese People's Armed Police Force Headquarters. Subsequently, Chen Ying and her delegation visited the library.

 

The National Library of China Branch at the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters is the 22nd NLC branch at ministries or commissions, which is managed by the Publicity Bureau of the Political Work Department of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters, with the NLC providing support and guidance in related business, technology and services. Both parties will strengthen cooperation in areas such as resource sharing, document services, training exchanges, and so on, aiming to enhance the cultural development of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force. The National Library of China Branch at the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force Headquarters will be built as a model of civil-military cooperation and a model of supporting the building of strong military, helping the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force make new and greater contributions to maintaining national security and social stability, and ensuring the well-being of the people.
