From 16 October to 23 October, on the invitation of the German National Library, the National Library of France, and the French Public Information Library, Huo Ruijuan, Deputy Director of the National Library of China (NLC), led a 5-person delegation to visit Frankfurt, Germany and Paris, France.
During the visit to Germany, the delegation had exchanges with the directors of the Frankfurt Branch and Leipzig Branch of the German National Library. The delegation also participated in the 2024 Frankfurt Book Fair in Germany to learn about the publishing situation of Chinese publishers and some well-known foreign publishers.
During the visit to France, the delegation had exchanges with the director of the National Library of France and signed a cooperation agreement for the next stage between the two libraries. They also visited the French Public Information Library.
