On the invitation of the NLC, a 7-person delegation of National Library Board, Singapore (NLB), led by Mr. Ng Cher Pong, Chief Executive Officer of the NLB, visited the National Library of China (NLC) for business exchanges from 2 December to 6 December.
On 4 December, Chen Ying, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the NLC and Deputy Director of the NLC, met with Mr. Ng Cher Pong and his delegation, and presented the latest 30 books of "Hundred Classics of Chinese Traditional Culture" to the NLB on behalf of the NLC. Huo Ruijuan, Deputy Director of the NLC, exchanged with the delegation.
During their visit in Beijing, the delegation also visited the Capital Library, Beijing City Library, National Archives Administration of China, the First Historical Archives of China, Chinese Archaeological Museum, the Palace Museum, JD.com, and so on.
