Tie Ning and her delegation visit "Great Cause: Calligraphy Exhibition to Celebrate the Centenary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China"

On the afternoon 8 July, Tie Ning, President of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and President of China Writers Association, Li Yi, Secretary of CPC Committee of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Vice President of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and so on, visited two chapters of "Great Cause: Calligraphy Exhibition to Celebrate the Centenary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China", i.e. "Greatest Faith" and "Universal Influence" in the National Library of China (NLC). Rao Quan, a member of the Leading CPC Member Group of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Director of the NLC, Wei Dawei, Deputy Director of the NLC, Li Xin, Secretary of CPC Committee of China Calligraphers Association, and other relevant responsible comrades visited the exhibition.

"Greatest Faith" was composed of 135 pieces of calligraphy works written by local calligraphers for half a year, who deeply excavated local Party history documents, looked for heroic deeds, admired the heroic spirit of revolutionary martyrs, and personally experienced the heroic stories and heroics in the local revolutionary history. This exhibition presented the stories of heroes in the local revolutionary history, reproduced the moving and vivid picture, and wrote an epic of the Chinese people's heroic struggle for the lofty ideal. "Universal Influence" selected 56 manuscripts of celebrities, such as Marx, Engels and Mao Zedong, and so on, and some masters in modern and contemporary art community collected by the NLC, and thematic creation by 38 backbone calligraphers. This exhibition depicted the light of ideal and belief in the awakening era through the display of literature and historical materials and contemporary calligraphy.

The two chapters of "Greatest Faith" and "Universal Influence", which were jointly sponsored by China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the NLC, and China Calligraphers Association, paid tribute to the predecessors who dedicated and sacrificed for the liberation of the Party and the people in the era of bloody struggle in the past, expressed our memory and admiration for the martyrs, and presented a historical picture composed of calligraphy works showing the lofty beliefs of the Communists.
