On 18 February, the online working meeting of IFLA Asia-Oceania Regional Division Committee was held. As a committee member, Chen Ying, Deputy Director of the National Library of China (NLC), attended the meeting and had in-depth exchanges with other attendees on various topics.
The meeting conveyed IFLA Asia-Oceania Regional Division Action Plan (2021-2023), which was approved by the IFLA Regional Council, clarified that the action plan of each region should be consistent with the action plan of the Regional Council, and focused on the agenda of "Library and the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations".
At the meeting, the committee members reviewed the agenda of the meeting, the minutes of the last meeting and other working documents, and discussed internal organizations and workflow, arrangement of 2022 IFLA General Conference and Council, organization of online working conference, communication and exchange channels, and developing the IFLA members, which laid a foundation for the effective work in the future.
