On 11 August, the IFLA Knowledge Management Section held a working conference online. As a member of the Section, Wei Dawei, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the NLC and Deputy Director of the NLC, attended the conference, and had in-depth exchanges with the participants on various topics.

The conference conveyed the information of the two activities which were organized by the IFLA Knowledge Management Section during the 2022 World Library and Information Conference held in Dublin, Ireland. During the conference, the members reviewed the agenda of this conference, the minutes of the last conference and other working documents, and discussed the issues such as the arrangement of the 2023 World Library and Information Conference, the development plan of the Section, and so on, which laid a foundation for carrying out the work efficiently in the future.

The goal of the IFLA Knowledge Management Section is to become the "voice of global knowledge management" in the international information community, providing an international platform to understand the importance of knowledge management and strengthen relevant exchanges. The Section holds 2-3 working conferences every year.
