Chen Ying, female, Hui ethnicity. Born in April 1968. Postgraduate with an MA degree. Member of the CPC. She successively worked at the Mass Culture Department, Art Department and Culture Technology Department of the former Ministry of Culture. She used to serve as assistant consultant of the Drama Division and deputy director of the General Office in the Art Department and act as director of the Science and Technology Division and General Office in the Culture Technology Department. In January 2014, she took the position of Vice President of the National Peking Opera Company. In December 2017, she was appointed as Deputy Director of the NLC. She served as Deputy Director of the NLC, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the NLC and Director of the NLC Discipline Inspection Commission since November 2018. She was appointed as Secretary of CPC Committee of the NLC and Deputy Director of the NLC in November 2022.
