The financial burden of practising safe menstruation affects people directly and needs to be addressed at the policy level.Starting conversations with boys and men or people who don’t menstruate helps break the cycle of shame.We need to be more mindful of our actions so that everyone feels comfortable practising safe and hygienic menstrual practices.
