This one-of-a-kind report explains, through multiple means and across diff  erent  spheres,  the need to engage and empower men and boys to critically evaluate national, regional and local norms of masculinities and challenge negative gender stereotypes and behaviours. The report also outlines how such a positive transformation will help stakeholders from the civil society, government, academia, and others, in addressing myths and misconceptions surrounding the diff  erent  notions of masculinity, paving the way societies to achieve peace and sustainable development, with gender equality as a core principle.
