-to raise awareness on preservation issues,
-to disseminate information about preservation issues, to translate professional literature into Chinese,
-to organize training courses, workshops, seminars or conferences about preservation, conservation and safeguard of national documentary heritage. This can be done in cooperation with other centers or with the support of the PAC Focal Point in Paris.
-to advocate and facilitate the use of standards (mainly on permanent paper, on digitization, on microfilming, etc...)
-to contribute to PAC newsletter (International Preservation News) with articles and to distribute IPN with flyers or summaries in Chinese (IPN is published by PAC Paris and sent free of charge to each PAC center for redistribution in its geographical area).
