The 2017 National Public Library Microfilming Technology Training Course is held in Weihai


The 2017 National Public Library Microfilming Technology Training Course was held in Weihai from September 5 to 8, which was sponsored by China National Microfilming Centre for Library Resources, and organized by China Association of Document Imaging, Shandong Library and Weihai Library. Zhang Yang, deputy director of China National Microfilming Centre for Library Resources, Zhou Yushan, deputy director of the Shandong Library, Zhang Meili, deputy director of Weihai Municipal Bureau of Culture, Broadcasting, Press and Publications attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. 50 microfilming experts from more than 20 member libraries in the country participated in the training course.

 
In this training course, Professor Li Ming from Beijing Film Academy and seven experts from China National Microfilming Centre for Library Resources with solid theoretical knowledge and practical experiences gave featured lectures on technical standards, photography, washing, quality inspection, data production, and so on. The trainees said that the training topics were diverse and profound, which improved the theoretical and practical level of librarians in the member libraries.

 
In the face of the rapid development of microfilming technology, the improvement of microfilming work is inseparable from the innovation practice of every librarian. The National Public Library Microfilming Technology Training course is held every year, which plays a positive role in promoting the sustainable development of the library microfilming cause.
